Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in America. Her work has earned her recognition for her TV and film performances since the early 1980s. The awards she has won comprise the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett originates from New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett was able to move with her younger twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five in order to be closer to their mother and father, who had separated from their father. Bassett chose to become an actress after she saw the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. Yale University New Haven Connecticut in which she graduated with her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in 1980. She was a student at the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda the lead female character in the adventure action film I. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
